The Sally K. Albrecht Studio Theatre is located inside the Tiedtke Theatre and Dance Centre. There is no cost for admission to the programs listed on this page. Seating is first come, first served; reservations are available to mainstage season subscribers.

Every person in a theater falls unconscious鈥xcept one. This gripping documentary-style thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Content and Sensory Advisory: This production has loud and jarring noises, such as screams, moments of complete darkness, and lighting effects such as strobing and flashing lights throughout the show. The show is in the horror genre, with references to suicide, murder, and drowning, and the depiction of institutionalization.


The New Playwrights Series

Summary: A Southern family鈥檚 Thanksgiving crashes as grief, control, and body image collide in a house that鈥檚 trying too hard to stay perfect. Centered around matriarchal relationships, the play is a hilariously grim look at what happens when love, trauma, and traditions all sit down at the same table.
Content advisory: Cold Turkey contains mature language, discussion of death and grief, and harmful, derogatory, or discriminatory language surrounding body image and race.

Summary: Set in a trailer park, Trailer Trash is a tragicomedy about Faith, an almost-twenty-year-old woman who is clawing her way out of the trailer she鈥檚 suffocating in and juggling her relationships 鈥 all with payday just out of reach.

Summary: A queer religious fiction. Reverends Peter and Joseph find themselves responsible for solving a plague that their town suspects turns the sick to vampires, while struggling to uncover answers given by a mysterious supernatural messenger.
